A Bit About Me
I am a soon-to-be multi-platform production graduate (2023) from Morgan State University. My passion lies in utilizing every aspect of my creativity to the fullest extent. I have experience working on movie, television, theater, and music performance sets. I regularly operate movie-quality cameras, audio technology, lighting sets, and post-production programs. Though I am just getting started, I am ready to change the world one story at a time!
Work Experience
WEAA 88.9 FM- Radio Show Host
September 2021-September 2022
Intern
June 2022- Present
First Gen Documentary
April 2022
As a morning radio show host it was my responsibility to produce, write, and narrate programs on-air. During allotted times I conducted on-air interviews while also operating audio and video equipment. Another task that was important was preparing newscasts and delivering them on-air. In addition to this I also helped fundraise for programming.
As an intern with the Queen Pen Media LLC. production, I am responsible for editing a promotional movie trailer. While doing this I must work closely with animators, directors, and producers to complete a film post production. Lastly, I also transcribe weekly meetings and communicate notes with team members.
During the production of the First Gen documentary, I worked as a director, lighting, camera, and audio operator. My roles differed depending on the clients with whom I collaborated. As a director, I conducted on-screen interviews. I worked as an audio technician, camera operator, and lighting technician, operating professional-grade equipment when I was not an interviewer.
